The luxurious master bathroom measures about 23' x 15' - providing ample elbow room for both of you... even in the shower! Like the kitchen and foyer, the master bathroom has radiant heated floors to combat the cold winter mornings.
Although some people like the idea of having a whirlpool tub, the current owners preferred to forego the crud that tends to build up in the whirlpool vents and installed a deep soaking tub with ceramic tile surround instead. The large plantation shutters create a regal aura, don't you think?
Other features of the bathroom include: a water closet with an open wall (!?), mirrored medicine cabinet doors on each side of "his" vanity, and a tall ceiling with recessed lights.
"His" vanity has a granite top and under-mount sink. "Her" vanity also has a granite top with under-mount sink, but has a generous number of drawers instead of cabinets. Hers has a single medicine cabinet with mirrored door. Next to his vanity are built-in linen shelves and a TV nook!
In addition to a commode, the "water closet" boasts a bidet and phone jack. Although there is no side wall, if you prefer, you can pull the pocket door shut in front of the commode.
The bathroom features ceramic tile on the diagonal with a marble tile border. This side of the house is so private you can forego blinds.
The current owners use rain shower heads which do not bounce water far and wide - at least as far as the current floor curb - and so avoided the need to enclose the shower area. The large area, measuring about 7' x 7', provides makes it possible for both to shower together without bumping into each other or worrying about what water temperature the other prefers. In any case, the tile floor cleans up easily even if it gets a bit of water on it.
The deck spanning between the bedroom and bathroom has access to it from both rooms.
Perhaps you might like to sit out on your deck in the evening for awhile before going to bed. However else you might choose to use this deck is up to you! The deck space measures about 6' x 20'
This view from the deck is of the living room. The views you have of the back yard from the deck are below...
And finally, the hallway leading back to the bedroom...
