Welcome home to Hyde Park, a wonderful place in which to raise your family or have a round of golf. It is a quiet neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle of city life; and yet, it is conveniently located near the shopping centers of Dedham and Westwood. Hyde Park has its own neighborhood of Readville. Both have quick access to the Blue Hills and highways to wherever you need to be as well as commuter rail to South Station in Boston.
Hyde Park is not entirely a bedroom community. Several industrial businesses are located here. You will find many of its fast food/restaurants, retail shops, post office, etc., along its main north-south street – Hyde Park Avenue. There are many activities to enjoy here like the Hyde Park Skatepark. You can still get good value for your money in Hyde Park and without sacrificing safety.
My wife and I enjoy taking our dogs to the George Wright Golf Course during off hours when and where they can enjoy cool dips in the water and romps in the sand traps. The golf course borders the Stony Brook conservation area on the Roslindale – Dedham town lines – another great place for walks or jogging.
